Senior AI Engineer

Senior AI Engineer – GenAI & Agentic AI ⏰12 months, strong likelihood of extension 💸Up to £600 per/day (inside) 📍London, 3-4 days a week onsite I'm working with a leading organisation on a senior AI engineering opportunity, focused on taking GenAI and Agentic AI solutions from POC through to production. The role is hands-on, covering AI engineering, solution design and cloud architecture, with a particular focus on Azure. What you'll be doing

• Build, develop and optimise GenAI and Agentic AI solutions using Python
• Design prompt engineering and RAG solutions
• Take AI solutions from POC into production, including testing, CI/CD and MLOps
• Work across Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Functions, App Service and Cosmos DB
• Work with architecture, cloud and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
• Explore emerging AI technologies and their practical application
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers
• Work with senior business and technology stakeholders What we're looking for
• Hands-on Agentic AI and GenAI development experience
• Strong Python experience and knowledge of AI frameworks
• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering and LLM integration
• Experience with model development/fine-tuning and MLOps
• Strong Azure experience, ideally within a regulated or enterprise environment
• Understanding of LLM integration patterns such as MCP and A2A
• Experience integrating cloud and on-premise systems
• Good communication skills and the ability to operate across both technical and business teams
