Main Purpose of the Role: As an Insurance Claims Officer, you will investigate liability claims, assess legal responsibility, manage personal injury/property/highways claims, and negotiate settlements while ensuring compliance with Ministry of Justice Civil Procedure Rules. Candidate Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance and legal liability claims
• Determine claim acceptance or denial
• Handle personal injury, property, housing, and highways claims
• Use MOJ claims portal
• Collect evidence and documentation
• Prepare witness statements
• Negotiate settlements with solicitors/legal representatives
• Attend court hearings where required
• Work with external solicitors and barristers
• Maintain claims databases
• Process claim-related payments
• Ensure regulatory/legal compliance
• Support stakeholder reporting and presentations Essential Required Skills:
• A-Level education
• Minimum 5 GCSEs (Maths & English)
• Law degree OR equivalent legal/claims experience
• Strong communication skills
• IT proficiency
• Investigation and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Deadline management
• Interest in law/tort law
