Quality Inspector - Electronics

Quality Inspector Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border | c£30,000 I'm currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based on Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on electronics and PCB assemblies. You'll be responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring they meet the required quality standards. The role will involve:

• Inspecting PCB assemblies, soldering, wiring and mechanical assemblies
• Identifying and inspecting SMT and through-hole components
• Carrying out goods-in and shop-floor inspections
• Working from electrical/mechanical drawings and specifications
• Using measuring and inspection equipment
• Supporting quality across the production environment We're looking for someone with:
• Previous experience in quality inspection within an electronics/manufacturing environment
• IPC-A-610 certification (ideally current)
• Good understanding of PCB assembly and soldering
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience using measuring equipment
