Creative PR and Campaigns Manager
at Got The T-ShirtCreative PR & Campaigns Manager 📍 Manchester 💰 Up to £45,000 + up to 30% company bonus 💸 OTE circa £54,900 based on historic average bonus payout 🏢 Predominantly office-based This isn't a traditional PR Manager role. We're looking for someone who comes up with the idea in the first place, then works out how to bring it to life across PR, social, live activations, digital and the venue itself. We're working with a brilliant hospitality and entertainment business looking for a Creative PR & Campaigns Manager to help keep one of its flagship brands interesting, surprising and talked about. They don't want someone who sits in a brainstorm, comes up with an idea and hands it over to somebody else. They want someone who can think creatively and make things happen. The role There's a packed calendar of major campaigns, events, seasonal moments and launches throughout the year, with bigger creative campaigns typically landing every six to eight weeks. You'll be right at the heart of them. Working alongside an in-house designer, videographer, entertainment team and wider marketing team, you'll develop ideas that can live across multiple channels rather than simply producing another marketing campaign that looks like everybody else's. That could be a PR-able stunt, a live activation, an interesting partnership, a social idea, a cultural moment or a bigger integrated campaign. Ideally, it's an idea that can stretch across all of them. You'll also manage the external PR agency day to day, making sure there's a strong story behind the activity and giving them campaigns genuinely worth talking about. Most importantly, you'll see your ideas through. From the initial thought to budgets, suppliers, timelines, approvals and actually getting the thing live. What you'll be doing
- Coming up with creative ideas for campaigns, events and key cultural moments
- Developing campaigns that work across PR, social, digital, live activation and in-venue
- Creating stunts and activations designed to generate conversation and earned coverage
- Building PR thinking into campaigns from the very beginning
- Working closely with designers, videographers and content teams to develop ideas together
- Taking campaigns from concept through to launch
- Managing timelines, budgets, suppliers and approvals
- Working with venue and operational teams to deliver live activity
- Managing the external PR agency day to day
- Identifying creative partnerships and collaborations
- Finding ways to turn entertainment, events and brand activity into brilliant content and stories
- Measuring what worked and using those learnings to make the next campaign even better What we're looking for First and foremost, you need to have ideas. We're looking for someone who understands what makes a campaign interesting enough for people to notice, share or talk about. But you also need to enjoy the doing. You could currently be working in:
- A creative PR agency
- A consumer PR agency
- A creative or social agency
- An experiential agency
- An integrated agency
- An interesting in-house brand doing genuinely creative work You don't need to have worked in hospitality before. Someone coming from entertainment, fashion, sport, food and drink, lifestyle or another culturally relevant sector could be equally interesting. What matters more is that you can work at pace, adapt quickly and thrive somewhere where plans can change and new opportunities appear quickly. You'll ideally have:
- Around 3 to 5 years' experience across creative PR, campaigns, social, experiential or integrated marketing
- A portfolio of campaigns, activations or content that demonstrates the ideas you personally contributed
- Examples of work that generated attention, earned coverage, engagement or genuine conversation
- A strong understanding of how one idea can work across several different channels
- Experience working collaboratively with designers, videographers and other creatives
- Experience briefing and managing external agencies
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own budgets, deadlines and delivery
- A good understanding of social culture and what people actually want to watch, share and talk about
- A genuine interest in food, drink, music, entertainment and culture Why join? There's no shortage of material to work with. You'll have major campaigns throughout the year, live entertainment, events, multiple venues and plenty of opportunities to create ideas that people actually see and experience in the real world. There's also an up to 30% company bonus, paid quarterly. On a £45,000 salary, that would mean OTE of around £54,900 based on the historic average. Please include examples of relevant campaigns or creative work with your application.
