Assistant Account Manager - Mens and Boys

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Account Manager to join a successful fashion supplier, supporting the day-to-day management of a key menswear account. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong menswear experience who is organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers and overseas factories. Main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of the account
• Managing and monitoring the critical path to ensure key deadlines are achieved
• Liaising with buyers on a daily basis and responding to queries and requests
• Working closely with factories in Bangladesh and Turkey to ensure product development and production remain on track
• Supporting general account operations and ensuring all actions are progressed to deadline
• Attending customer meetings alongside the Account Manager
• Following up after meetings and actioning agreed points across internal teams and suppliers
• Working closely with wider design, production and merchandising teams to support the smooth running of the account Person specification:
• Previous menswear experience is essential, ideally gained within a retailer at Assistant Buyer level or within a fashion supplier
• Strong jersey experience would be highly relevant, with additional exposure to outerwear, knitwear or denim advantageous
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers, suppliers and internal teams
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced account management environment
