Role: Exam Invigilator Academy: Outwood Academy Ormesby Start Date: ASAP Salary (Actual Salary): £13.28 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday pay) Working Pattern: As and when required for exams Are you conscientious, reliable, and looking for a role supporting the vital examination process within an academy? Responsibilities Be crucial to maintaining the integrity of our examinations. You'll work as part of a team, supervising pupils and ensuring strict adherence to all legal and school regulations. Key duties include preparing the exam room , admitting and quietly seating candidates , and managing the distribution and collection of exam papers. You will maintain efficient timekeeping , deal calmly with minor behaviour issues , and be prepared to escort candidates in an emergency. Your vigilance ensures a fair and compliant environment for all students. Qualifications We are seeking reliable, conscientious, and flexible individuals with a good standard of education. While prior school experience is welcome, it's not essential. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills , a calm and self-confident demeanour , and be able to work effectively on your own initiative. Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality/data protection is required , along with the ability to maintain good organisational standards.
