Site Manager

Position We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major data centre construction project in Middlesbrough, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme and required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities and construction works.
• Supervise subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor progress against the project programme and report any delays or issues.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Construction Managers and subcontractors.
• Monitor the quality of works and ensure required standards are maintained.
• Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety across the site.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on progress, issues and requirements.
• Coordinate site activities, resources and labour to maintain project progress.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to resolve site queries and technical issues.
• Assist with the coordination of materials, plant and deliveries to site.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and relevant documentation. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Manager within large-scale construction projects.
• Previous data centre, industrial, commercial or complex construction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and site coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple site activities simultaneously.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a construction environment.
• Relevant construction qualifications/cards.
• CSCS or equivalent UK site certification.
• Ability to start immediately.
