Job Title: Vehicle Technician / Auto Mechanic Location:Milton Keynes (MK17 8DB) Salary: £35,000 base salary + bonus scheme ote £6,000 Working Hours: 8:30am 5:30pm (MonFri) | 8:00am 5:00pm (Sat) Schedule: 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday (includes a fixed weekday off) About IN'N'OUT Autocentres Contek Recruitment Solutions are collaborating with our client who focus on delivering fast, honest, and high-quality maintenance in modern, spotlessly clean workshops. We are currently looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Milton Keynes branch. The Role As a Vehicle Technician youll focus on routine servicing, vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs. You will work alongside our team and MOT Testers to deliver reliable turnarounds for our local customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out comprehensive vehicle servicing, safety checks, and fluid changes.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical components, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and clutches.
• Fitting and balancing tyres, performing wheel alignments, and carrying out battery replacements.
• Efficiently diagnosing general vehicle faults using up-to-date equipment.
• Completing job cards accurately and maintaining clear communication with the Service Manager.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and workshop cleanliness standards. What Were Looking For
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. (Experienced Level 2 candidates with a strong track record will also be considered.)
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced garage or autocentre environment.
• High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude. What We Offer
