Experienced Healthcare Recruitment Consultant – Permanent Desk Location: Remote / Hybrid considered Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + uncapped commission Company: Vela Medical Group Vela Medical Group is looking for an experienced Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join and develop our Permanent Recruitment division. We're looking for someone who knows how to build and run a successful permanent healthcare recruitment desk and can demonstrate a proven track record within a full 360 recruitment environment. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or on a hybrid basis, making it ideal for an experienced consultant who wants autonomy and the opportunity to grow their own desk within an established healthcare recruitment business. The Role You will manage the complete 360 permanent recruitment process, including:

• Developing new healthcare clients
• Building relationships with existing Vela clients
• Identifying permanent recruitment opportunities
• Sourcing and headhunting healthcare professionals
• Managing candidate pipelines
• Conducting candidate screening and qualification
• Arranging interviews and managing offers
• Negotiating salaries and recruitment fees
• Managing the process through to successful placement
• Developing repeat business and long-term client relationships What We're Looking For You must have a proven track record in healthcare recruitment, specifically managing a permanent recruitment desk within a 360 environment. We're looking for someone who is comfortable generating their own business, developing client relationships and proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying solely on inbound vacancies. Experience recruiting clinical or non-clinical healthcare professionals would be particularly valuable. Why Vela?
