Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer

The Key Details:

• £45-60 p/h
• Outside IR35
• Start date - W/C 19th
• Location - Remote, with occasional travel to Chester The Business: An established electronics design and manufacturing company in Cheshire with a small, close engineering team. A true end to end process, your work goes from schematic to production under one roof. Customers span a wide range of industries, so no two projects look the same. The role Most projects are hardware and firmware together, sometimes hardware alone, from new designs to PCB re-spins and updates. This role is end to end, each project is different:
• Meet the customer
• Gather the requirements
• Turn req's into a specification
• Design the circuit
• Write the firmware
• Support the build through to manufacture Projects run from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. There are experienced engineers, but the call on your project is yours. It suits a senior engineer who likes owning their work What you'll need
• Proven experience designing electronics hardware and writing the embedded firmware that runs on it, taking both from schematic to working product.
• A track record of owning projects end to end on your own, making the design decisions and finding the answers yourself.
• Experience working directly with customers to turn loose requirements into a clear specification.
• Work in a design consultancy or a design and manufacturing business, across several industries rather than one product line.
