Metallurgical Technician

Required skills and experience:

• Good IT literacy skills
• Degree or qualification in sciences or another technical discipline.
• Clear and effective communication skills ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established laboratory where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality metallurgical testing and analysis services. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll be involved in the preparation, testing and evaluation of metal samples for a diverse range of industries, helping clients make informed engineering and manufacturing decisions. Key activities:
• Metallurgical preparation of metal samples in line with specifications, including sectioning, grinding, polishing and etching of samples.
• Microscopic Evaluation of samples to specifications.
• Performance of corrosion tests.
• Chemical analysis of metal samples.
