FCMS is recruiting a Senior Dental Nurse!

• Hours – Part-time
• Location – Queen Victoria Hospital, Thornton Road, Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 5NN
• Salary – £15.23 an hour Weekend and Bank Holiday Enhancements Main duties of the role As a Senior Dental Nurse, you will provide visible leadership and support to the dental team, working closely with the Dental Operations Manager, Clinical Lead, Operational Specialists and Senior Dental Nurses to ensure safe, effective and efficient service delivery. You will be involved with supporting staff performance, clinical governance activity, quality assurance processes and patient experience initiatives, whilst maintaining a strong clinical understanding of urgent dental care. Working within urgent dental care can be fast-paced and unpredictable, so you will be comfortable managing competing priorities, remaining calm under pressure and supporting others through challenging situations. The role includes a clinical nursing element, providing one nursing session every two weeks as part of the contracted hours. This ensures continued understanding of service delivery, patient needs and building of good relationships and support with our team. A caring and compassionate personality is extremely important, confident in speaking to patients, and able to work in a busy and sometimes challenging environment, remain calm under pressure.
