IT Project Manager - Leading Financial Institution

Our client is a Global Investment Bank renowned for driving operational excellence, robust financial technology, and digital transformation across complex, highly regulated environments. As part of an expansion within their front-office electronic trading andtechnology group, they are seeking a dedicated AI Project Manager to lead the delivery of cutting-edge AI and data-driven initiatives across the region. We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Project Manager (AI) to join a dynamic technology team. Operating within a fast-paced capital markets environment, you will manage end-to-end AI project lifecycles from initial requirements gathering to production rollout. Sitting at the intersection of technology and the business, you will work directly alongside traders, quantitative specialists, risk officers, and core application teams to translate complex front-office needs into actionable, high-impact AI technology solutions. Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end rollout of AI and automation projects for front-office Execution Services from idea to launch.
• Work directly with traders and sales traders to find practical AI tools that boost trading speed, decision-making, and efficiency.
• Turn trading needs into clear project plans, user stories, and actionable tech requirements.
• Coordinate across tech developers, data teams, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to keep projects on track.
• Run pilots and proofs-of-concept (PoCs) to test new AI solutions before taking them to production safely.
• Evaluate AI tools (Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agents) and vendor platforms for real business value and fit.
• Measure post-launch user adoption and work with traders to keep improving delivered tools. Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Min 5 - 10 years of experience in project management, business analysis
• Experience in working within investment banking, capital markets, equities, or e-Trading environments.
• Practical understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and realistic front-office use cases (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or machine learning).
• Good domain knowledge of front-office trading workflows, Execution Services, and the ability to interface directly with traders and business stakeholders.
• Exposure in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
