Director, IT Planning and Control, IT Governance and Risk Control Section Our client, a leading retail bank is looking for Director - IT Risk Control & IT Governance, to join their team. This role is responsible for strengthening IT planning, budgeting, reporting, and vendor governance across the Branch IT function, with a focus on structured support for management decision-making, financial oversight, and governance coordination. The position requires strong leadership in IT planning and control, along with the ability to work closely with IT, business, finance, procurement, and control functions. The successful candidate will lead planning and budgeting cycles, maintain the IT roadmap, improve reporting standards, and support governance processes that enable effective oversight and operational consistency. What You Will Do?

• Lead the annual IT planning and budgeting process, including periodic forecast updates and related coordination activities.
• Develop and maintain the IT roadmap in alignment with business priorities and technology initiatives across the branch.
• Oversee budget-versus-actual tracking, cost visibility, and management reporting for IT planning and control.
• Support investment prioritization and planning coordination across IT teams to ensure structured decision support.
• Establish and enhance KPI and status reporting for IT management, with attention to consistency and clarity.
• Oversee vendor governance activities, including performance tracking, commercial oversight, and service quality monitoring.
• Drive consistency in planning standards, reporting templates, and governance processes across the Branch IT function.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in planning, reporting, and cost management to strengthen control and efficiency. Your Skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills are required to guide team members and support high-quality delivery.
• 10-15 years of solid experience in IT planning, IT finance, governance, or related management functions.
• Proven leadership experience in banking or another regulated financial services environment is preferred.
• A strategic mindset is needed to translate business priorities into practical plans and effective governance actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability is necessary for budgeting, reporting, and cost management oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential when working with senior internal partners.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management reporting, and KPI oversight is required.
• Experience in vendor governance, contract or service oversight, and cost management is important for this role.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools is expected for analysis and management presentations.
