Housing Association | Pitsea (Hybrid) Immediate Start Ongoing Temporary Assignment £16.23 per Hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Complaints Advisor Lead to join a Housing Association based in Pitsea. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with housing complaints experience and a strong understanding of the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve resident complaints in a fair, timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with internal teams and contractors to gather evidence and progress cases.
• Ensure compliance with the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code 2024 and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records on CRM systems and complaint management platforms.
• Draft complaint responses and provide clear updates to residents.
• Identify recurring issues and support service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience handling complaints within housing, customer service or a public sector environment.
• Strong understanding of the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and complaint management software.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to strict deadlines.
• Strong investigation, problem-solving and organisational skills.
