About the Role

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication.
• Support learners with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed.
• Monitor progress, provide effective feedback, and contribute to individual learning plans.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support student outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people who may have experienced barriers to learning.
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
• Demonstrates resilience, flexibility, and a positive approach to behaviour management.
