Year 6 Teacher - - Preston

REED/LTA are seeking an experienced and committed Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from January until July on a full-time basis.

This is a key role within the school, leading a Year 6 class through an important stage of their primary education, including preparation for SATs, transition to secondary school, and end-of-year activities.

The successful candidate will:

• Have recent experience teaching Year 6.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths.
• Have experience preparing pupils for SATs and supporting them to achieve their potential.
• Be confident managing a class with a range of abilities and additional learning needs.
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Be able to commit to the role for the full duration of the assignment.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who can provide consistency and stability for the pupils during this important academic year.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet with the school and attend an interview before the end of the Autumn Term. There will also be opportunities to visit the school and meet the class prior to starting.
