KS1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Lowestoft. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality education to young learners in a 2 form entry school. Each classroom accommodates 23 students and includes a teaching assistant to support the learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
• Manage a classroom of 23 students, ensuring a safe and dynamic learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to enhance the educational experience of the students.
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing reports and communicating with parents to support student development.
• Participate in school events, training, and staff meetings as required.
• Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching KS1 or a similar educational setting.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
