Strategy Lead Chief of Staff - Banking Experience

The Role: Strategy Lead / Chief of Staff Location: Sheffield, UK Position Type: Contract Inside IR35 Remote work option Available: 2-3 Days Onsite in a week : We're looking to identify candidates for a contract Strategy Lead / Chief of Staff role directly supporting the MD, Head of Enterprise Infrastructure within Client's Technology - CTO. The role will lead strategic planning and the operating rhythm for the Enterprise Infrastructure leadership team, helping translate technology and business priorities into clear transformation plans and measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading annual and multi-year technology infrastructure strategy and roadmaps
• Producing executive-level strategy packs, decision papers and governance materials
• Owning the leadership team's weekly and monthly operating cadence
• Tracking priority delivery, dependencies, risks and decisions across the portfolio
• Supporting investment planning, budget management and spend transparency
• Driving productivity, simplification and workforce planning initiatives
• Building relationships across CTO, GCIO, COO, Procurement and business CIO teams We're particularly interested in candidates with:
• Strong experience in strategy, transformation, portfolio execution or technology business management
• Technology infrastructure experience, ideally covering areas such as compute, storage, cloud or hybrid operating models
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment
• A track record of influencing outcomes in complex, matrixed organisations
• Excellent executive communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
