Executive Producer, Creative Partnerships

We're looking for an experienced Executive Producer with strong commercial and cultural connections to help us find and develop new commissions for Moving Cities, our global public art programme. We need someone who can identify potential commissioners and partners, open doors and turn opportunities into funded projects. You might come from film, creative partnerships, sponsorship or cultural production, with a strong network and a track record of turning relationships into creative commissions. About Moving Cities Moving Cities is a global art project that uses dance to explore cities as they are today. Created across 21 cities and reaching more than 50 million people, the project explores the changing identity of cities around the world. Our ideas of cities are often rooted in nostalgia, not the reality of what they are today. Globalisation and economic development have transformed our cities, sometimes beyond recognition. Moving Cities explores the distance between the city we think we know and the city that actually exists today. Each project takes place in a different city, bringing together partners from within that city: leading dance companies and artists, transport and infrastructure organisations, cultural institutions, local government, businesses, schools and communities. The project has been commissioned and supported by airlines, hotels, tourism bodies, transport organisations and cultural institutions around the world. Projects can encompass public art, exhibitions, education, community engagement, publishing, digital media and advertising. The form changes from city to city. The Role We're looking for someone who can see where Moving Cities could go next and make it happen. You'll work closely with us to develop opportunities, partnerships and commissions, bringing commercial instincts and cultural understanding to a distinctive creative proposition. Paid freelance role, initially for 6 months, approximately 1.5 days per week. £2,000 per month.
