Service Design Lead

Service Design Lead London University Salary: £60,484 - £65,557 Availability: ASAP Contract: 6-Month Initial FTC Hybrid working: 1-2 days in London An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Design Lead to join a leading London university during a significant organisational transformation programme. Working across a complex stakeholder environment, you will lead service design activity that helps shape future ways of working, improve the employee and student experience, and support the delivery of a new operating model. This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior leaders, programme teams and operational stakeholders to design and implement impactful change. Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the service design workstream within a large-scale transformation programme.
• Designing future-state services, processes and operating models.
• Conducting user research and gathering insights to inform service improvements.
• Developing service blueprints, customer journeys, personas and experience maps.
• Facilitating workshops, co-design sessions and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Translating complex requirements into practical and deliverable solutions.
• Embedding user-centred design principles across the organisation.
• Supporting change implementation and continuous improvement activity. You:
• The successful candidate will bring proven experience of service design within large and complex organisations, alongside strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience of operating model design, organisational transformation, process improvement and user-centred design methodologies will be highly beneficial.
• Previous experience within a university is highly desirable!
