Salary: Competitive day rate, commensurate with experience Location: London | Hybrid | Approx. hours equating to 2 days per week Our client is a growing specialist talent partner supporting founder-led and investor-backed businesses with ambitious go-to-market strategies. With an established UK and US presence, a loyal team and sustained year-on-year growth, the organisation has already built an impressive events and professional community platform. This is an opportunity to shape what comes next: bringing greater strategic direction, stronger audience targeting and clearer commercial outcomes to an established programme of 40–50 events each year. The Fractional Events & Community Director will take ownership of the strategy behind events and communities, ensuring the right people are engaged, relationships are developed and activity creates measurable commercial value. Role Highlights

  • Shape the strategy, purpose and commercial direction of a 40–50 event annual programme.
  • Define target audiences, identify key decision-makers and create compelling event concepts.
  • Build structured pre-event engagement and post-event follow-up strategies.
  • Develop and grow established professional communities while helping shape future communities.
  • Create practical frameworks for consultants, directors and subject-matter experts to host successful activity. You Will Need
  • Proven experience developing and managing an events programme, rather than simply delivering individual events.
  • Demonstrable success building, managing or growing professional communities.
  • Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how events can generate meaningful business relationships.
  • Confidence engaging senior marketing, sales and business leaders as a credible relationship builder.
  • Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, professional services, recruitment or a similarly relationship-led environment would be highly relevant. Why You'll Love It
  • A genuine opportunity to influence an established events and community strategy.
  • Flexible fractional commitment of approximately two days per week.
  • London-based hybrid working with variety around event attendance.
  • Initial rolling day-rate contract with scope for the arrangement to develop.
  • Direct exposure to founders, senior consultants, directors and influential professional audiences.
  • The chance to shape communities with a long-term ambition to engage thousands of priority customers.
  • A warm, inclusive culture built around belonging, bravery, growth and kindness.
  • A role where your strategic thinking can directly influence commercial outcomes. Due to a high number of applicants, we are only able to respond to successful candidates.
