Specialist Optometrist

To participate in the delivery of a high quality Optometric service within the Eye Clinic. To participate in the delivery of a comprehensive range of core & Specialist Optometric services within East Lancashire Hospitals and its outreach clinics This role will primarily be supporting the Glaucoma Ophthalmology clinics and performing examinations in stand alone clinics for the Glaucoma Ophthalmology service At East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, our vision is to be widely recognised for providing safe, personal and effective care. We deliver high‑quality services to more than 600,000 people across East Lancashire and the surrounding areas, supported by over 7,000 dedicated staff, many of whom are nationally and internationally recognised for their expertise. Our services span two main hospital sites in Blackburn and Burnley, alongside a range of community locations. The Optometry Department is made up of 2 full time and 7 part time Optometrists and we work closely with the Orthoptists and Medical Colleagues.
