Visitor Experience Assistant

• Deliver a confident, informed welcome to every visitor
• Keep watch over galleries, approaches and entrances with security awareness front of mind
• Support evacuation procedures and respond to emergencies when they arise
• Reunite lost children with their families, calmly and in line with procedure
• Manage crowds and queues, keeping visitors informed and at ease
• Collect visitor feedback to help improve the experience
• Climb significant stairs, repeatedly, across a single shift
• Work outdoors for full shifts, in all conditions You must be able to attend the induction days – from 19 Oct to 23 Oct or from 26 Oct to 30 Oct. Your Talents You bring physical stamina to this one, comfort with stairs, heights and working outdoors matters as much as any customer service skill. Previous heritage or customer service experience would help you settle in, and strong interpersonal skills mean you can put a nervous visitor at ease or redirect a crowd without losing your calm. Flexibility across weekends and holidays is essential, as is attending one of the induction weeks before starting.
