Bid and Funding Manager - Grants, Tenders and Innovation Funding

Bid & Funding Manager (Energy): Grants, Tenders & Innovation Funding Fully remote UK based | 3.5, 4 or 5 days per week | £30,000-£55,000 pro-rata | 18-month fixed term, likely to extend Win the funding that powers fairer energy. Our client is a fast-growing, purpose-led organisation on a mission to make affordable, sustainable energy available to everyone. They're looking for a Bid & Funding Manager to own their grant and tender pipeline, from first opportunity to final submission. What you'll do

• Find and win funding from government, utilities, trusts and foundations
• Lead bids end to end, managing partners, stakeholders and project teams
• Write sharp, persuasive grant applications and tender responses
• Produce case studies, white papers and impact reports
• Keep a well-organised pipeline of opportunities and deadlines What you'll bring
• A proven record of winning energy-sector funding, ideally from Innovate UK, Energy Redress, the Strategic Innovation Fund or government and utility procurements
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills
• Strong research skills and the ability to work independently to tight deadlines
• Confidence using AI tools to work quickly
• A genuine passion for social value and sustainability Bonus points
• Familiarity with DESNZ, Energy Network Innovation funding, local authorities or charitable trusts
• Experience with bid software and CRM tools Why apply
