If you're an ambitious Employment lawyer who is ready to operate at the next level, or already there and looking for a platform with genuine growth potential, this is an opportunity to work at a firm where "Legal Director" really means something. We're working with a highly regarded full-service commercial firm with a clear and carefully planned growth strategy, both in London and across its wider network. The Employment team is already strong, advising an excellent client base across high-quality advisory, transactional and contentious work. They're now looking for a senior Employment lawyer who can help take the practice to the next stage. You'll need the technical strength and client-facing skills to advise on a broad range of Employment matters, but this is about more than simply doing good legal work. At Legal Director level, you'll be expected to:

  • Develop and deepen client relationships
  • Contribute to the growth and profile of the Employment practice
  • Spot opportunities and bring a genuinely commercial mindset
  • Take a leading role on high-quality client work
  • Mentor and supervise colleagues Importantly, the firm backs its expectations with a special compensation and benefits package to match. Legal Director is a meaningful level here in terms of responsibility, remuneration and recognition, with clear progression prospects for someone who succeeds. Hybrid working is fully supported, giving you the flexibility to work in a way that fits both your clients and your wider commitments. If you're looking for a role where your contribution to clients, the team and the growth of the practice will genuinely be noticed and rewarded, I'd love to discuss this with you.
