YOUR ROLE As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in partnering with operational and senior leadership teams, providing financial insight, analysis and commercial challenge to help drive business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support decision-making, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and contribute to the achievement of both operational and financial objectives across the Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) Industrial business. This is a true business partnering role, with a strong focus on understanding the operational drivers behind financial performance and using insight to influence and support business decisions. This role is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based in our offices in Chipping Warden. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of the Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) Industrial management team, providing strategic financial support and commercial insight to help drive operational and business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will use data and financial analysis to influence decision-making, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and sustainable growth. Working closely with operational leaders, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, ensuring the business has a clear understanding of financial results, risks and opportunities. You will look beyond the numbers to understand the key operational drivers of performance, including volumes, productivity, employee costs and the utilisation of space and resources. You will provide meaningful commentary and recommendations that support informed decision-making and help operational leaders understand the financial impact of business activity. Through proactive business partnering, robust financial controls and a continuous improvement mindset, you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial targets, supporting strategic initiatives and driving long-term success across the FVL Industrial division. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the successful candidate is a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with previous experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting or Commercial Finance role. Experience within an automotive, logistics, manufacturing or similarly operational environment would be highly advantageous. You will be commercially minded, with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you will have proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, alongside a track record of influencing and constructively challenging stakeholders to drive business performance. We are looking for a proactive self-starter with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, who can confidently partner with operational teams and senior leaders. You will also bring a continuous improvement mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER? With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance. There's no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment so if you'd like to work for one of the top Logistics providers in the world then please do get in touch to find your next role. ABOUT TOMORROW We value your professional and personal growth. That's why we share plenty of career opportunities for you to thrive within CEVA. Join CEVA for a challenging career.
