We're building a movement to make everyday venues accessible. Can you help shape our communications, grow our audience and inspire businesses and communities to take action? What difference will you make? Your communications will help build a movement for accessibility. By sharing powerful stories, celebrating positive change and helping more people understand the barriers disabled people face every day, you'll inspire businesses, communities and supporters to take action. As a new charity, every piece of content has the potential to increase our reach, attract volunteers and partners, secure funding and encourage more venues to become accessible. Your expertise will help shape how Rampage is seen from the very beginning, laying the foundations for a trusted, recognisable organisation with national ambitions. Most importantly, your contribution will help create tangible change. Better communications will mean more conversations, more accessibility audits, more ramps installed and more disabled people able to access the places and experiences many of us take for granted. What are we looking for? We're looking for an experienced communications or marketing professional who is excited by the opportunity to help build a new charity from the ground up. You'll have at least three years' professional experience in communications, marketing, campaigning or a related field, with the confidence to think strategically as well as deliver practical work. You're comfortable creating engaging content, planning campaigns and identifying opportunities to increase reach and engagement. You'll be a strong writer with excellent communication skills and an eye for compelling, accessible content. Experience managing social media channels, developing content strategies or supporting organisational communications would be valuable, as would confidence using tools such as Canva and common social media platforms. As we're a small, volunteer-led charity, we're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and able to work independently. You'll enjoy collaborating with others, be happy working flexibly in a start-up environment and be motivated by seeing ideas quickly turn into action. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our ambition to create lasting change and is excited by the opportunity to shape the communications of a growing charity with national aspirations. Remote What will you be doing? Rampage is a new UK charity with an ambitious mission to make everyday places accessible, one ramp at a time. Across the UK, millions of disabled people are still excluded from cafés, shops, restaurants and community spaces by a single step. We're changing that through campaigns, accessibility audits, partnerships and practical action, helping businesses understand what they can do to create more inclusive environments. We're looking for an experienced communications and marketing volunteer to help us grow our profile and build a movement around accessibility. This is an opportunity to shape the voice of an exciting new charity from the ground up, helping us inspire supporters, engage businesses and reach new audiences. Working alongside our founder and volunteer team, you'll help develop and deliver content across our digital channels, support campaign planning and bring creative ideas to life. From sharing powerful stories and accessibility insights to promoting events, celebrating successes and encouraging action, you'll play a key role in helping people understand why accessibility matters and how they can be part of the solution. We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to get stuck in. You'll be comfortable planning content, writing engaging copy and identifying opportunities to increase our reach and impact, while also supporting day-to-day delivery when needed. As a small, fast-growing charity, you'll have genuine influence over our communications and the freedom to test new ideas. In return, you'll have the opportunity to use your skills to create tangible social impact, work closely with a passionate and ambitious team, build your portfolio, and help shape the future of a charity with national ambitions from the very beginning.
