A fantastic opportunity has opened within Haymarket Asia for an ambitious Finance Awards & Special Projects Manager, Finance Brand working as part of the Finance Awards team and reporting directly to the Commercial Directors of FinanceAsia, Corporate Treasurer and AsianInvestor. Overview - As the Finance Awards & Special Projects Manager, your primary objective is to ensure the effective operation of Haymarket's awards programs—FinanceAsia, Corporate Treasurer, and AsianInvestor—across all facets. You will drive improvements in the awards programs, foster growth in business revenue, and enhance the positioning of these awards within the industry. This role also involves managing brand-specific initiatives to support the overall success of the awards programs. Specific responsibilities include: 1.Program Development and Strategy

• Design and implement comprehensive plans for the awards program, establishing clear objectives and timelines.
• Align program goals with brands mission and values to ensure relevance and impact. 2.Team Leadership and Coordination
• Lead the awards team, assigning roles and responsibilities to optimize performance and collaboration.
• Foster a positive team environment through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and team-building activities. 3.Stakeholder Management
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including past entrants, judges, and nominees, to enhance program success.
• The awards team serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to the awards program. 4.Oversee whole awards process and structure
• Criteria & Gudelines: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear and fair award criteria and guidelines for nominations and evaluations. Ensure transparency and integrity in the selection process.
• Nomination and Submission Oversight: Manage the nomination and submission process, ensuring all entries meet established criteria and deadlines.
• Judging and Evaluation Coordination: Organize the judging process, including recruiting judges and managing evaluation criteria. Compile and analyze judging results to inform final award decisions.
• Event Planning and Execution: Plan and oversee the awards ceremony, including venue selection, logistics, and program flow.
• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the program budget, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
• Reporting and Improvement: Prepare regular reports on awards program progress and outcomes. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess program effectiveness and gather insights for future improvements.
• Marketing and Promotion: Work with marketing team to create and implement marketing strategies to promote the awards program and increase participation. Personal qualities required for the role:
• Degree in business, marketing, branding, communication or related field is preferred but not necessary
• 3+ years working experience, preferably in project management or the financial services industry, event/training management experience desired but not essential
• Good to have awards experience especially with finance brands
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on, creative, take ownership of given tasks, achieve KPIs
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in business writing and marketing language with a high level of written English. Why work with us?
