Head of IT Reputable Retailer

About the Opportunity A leading, globally recognized Food brand with an extensive footprint in Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a visionary Head of IT. This is a highly strategic, confidential leadership role designed for a transformation champion. As the business transitions to a new major regional operating partner, you will spearhead the end-to-end migration, modernization, and restructuring of the entire IT ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive migration and transition of IT infrastructure, data, and systems from the legacy partner environment to the new corporate framework.
• Define the long-term IT strategy and technology roadmap to support seamless business continuity and aggressive regional growth.
• Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing internal IT team and manage strategic external vendors.
• Assess, select, and deploy critical enterprise solutions including but not limited to POS networks, consumer-facing mobile applications, and ERP systems.
• Partner closely with executive stakeholders to analyze complex business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Introduce and integrate AI-driven solutions to optimize supply chain efficiency, enhance customer personalization, and drive data-led business decisions. Key Requirements
• Minimum 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record in the F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT migrations, joint venture transitions, or corporate spin-offs.
• Deep knowledge of modern retail technology stacks, including Omni-channel POS, CRM/Loyalty apps, and ERP systems.
• Practical understanding of how to leverage AI, machine learning, or advanced data analytics in a consumer-retail environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and team-building skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is highly preferred.
