The Role

As a Secondary Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas.
• Maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Support students in achieving their learning objectives.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects and year groups as required.
• Uphold high expectations for student progress, attendance, and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, professional, and proactive approach to teaching.
• A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
