The Opportunity

A growing and highly regarded independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support its team of Financial Advisers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys research, report writing, and helping to deliver quality financial planning solutions to clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendation documentation.
• Provide technical support to Financial Advisers throughout the advice process.
• Assist with cashflow modelling and financial planning calculations where required.
• Liaise with product providers and third parties to obtain policy information and quotations.
• Ensure client records are maintained accurately and compliantly.
• Support the ongoing review process for existing clients.
• Keep up to date with industry, regulatory and technical developments.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Diploma qualified (Level 4) with the CII or an equivalent professional body.
• A minimum of 2 years' paraplanning experience within a financial planning environment.
• Previous experience supporting Financial Advisers with research and report writing.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Experience within an independent financial advice firm would be advantageous.
