Finance Manager

A fantastic and rare opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant to join a small, very well established team. My client is seeking a hands on Accountant who is looking for longevity in a top to bottom role

Duties will include:

• Supervise a small team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Year end accounts preparation and liaison with external auditors.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger.
• Review and submission of VAT returns.
• Cash flow forecasting and treasury management.
• Budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Supervising transactional finance processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Payroll oversight and reconciliation.
• Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management.
• Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements.
• Supporting the business with ad hoc financial projects and commercial analysis.
• Liaising with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all deadlines are met.

The successful candidate will be:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experienced in managing the full accounting function.
• Comfortable working in a small business environment.
• Proactive, hands-on and willing to support across all areas of finance.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
