Managing Director – Specialist Services Division UK | Hybrid | Excellent package + bonus Double the business. Build the team. Grow into a group role. Our client is a successful UK group serving the construction, property and energy sectors. It is looking for a Managing Director to lead a portfolio of specialist businesses employing around 500 people. Many are still led by their owner-managers. The ambition is to grow the division to £200–250m through further acquisitions and stronger organic growth. You'll set the strategy and drive performance across every business. That means coaching and challenging leaders, building succession, and reshaping where needed. You'll also introduce shared commercial and business development capability so the businesses win more together. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, growth-focused leader. Over time, there's a clear path to a wider group role. We're looking for someone who has:

• Led businesses of £150m+ with full P&L accountability
• A pedigree of strong operational leadership, grounded in contract-led businesses across private and public sector markets
• Delivered growth through acquisition and integrated acquired businesses well
• Got the best from entrepreneurial, founder-led teams
• A background in construction, engineering, M&E, energy or property services
