Agri Sales Specialist

Application Deadline: 31 December 2026 Department: Retail Location: Newbury Compensation: £10.85 - £12.71 / hour Description About The Role Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time Hours of Work:40 Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days As an Agri Sales Specialist, you'll be the trusted partner for our farming customers, delivering tailored advice and solutions that make a real difference. You'll work closely with retail and external agri sales colleagues to ensure every interaction puts the customer first and reflects our values. Key responsibilities include:

• Proactively promoting agricultural products and services to members and shareholders
• Developing sales with existing customers and attracting new members
• Delivering honest, knowledgeable advice tailored to customer needs
• Using campaigns and promotional materials creatively to drive growth
• Staying informed about local market trends and competitor activity
• Managing customer records and ledgers to maximise opportunities
• Supporting seasonal planning and stock optimisation
• Attending sales meetings and training sessions to keep your knowledge current About You
• Knowledge of farming and the agricultural/countryside marketplace (essential)
• Previous retail or sales experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong retail disciplines and a passion for customer service
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Awareness of Data Protection/GDPR and Health & Safety standards
