Service Charge Accountant

A unique position to manage a full portfolio of clients in Central London and a well-established, asset rich client. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of service charge accounting and the associated legislation; with a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows. Key Responsibilities

• Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents
• Managing one key client and the associated portfolio of high net worth leaseholders
• Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges
• Chasing arrears and progressing legal action against defaulters
• Dealing with legacy issues and disputes
• Bank reconciliation
• Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees
• Supporting the Central London team of Block managers Skills
• Honest and reliable
• Driven and self-motivated
• Confident, dynamic and diplomatic
• Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent literacy and numerical skills
• Good knowledge of Word and excel
