⚡ WE'RE HIRING: ELECTRICIAN at HMP & YOI BRONZEFIELD⚡ Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a stable, permanent role where your skills genuinely make a difference?  We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join the Facilities Management team at HMP & YOI Bronzefield. 💷 £45,000 per annum 📍 Ashford, Surrey ⏰ 37.5 hours per week  Typically Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with out-of-hours call-out rota You will play a key role in keeping a large, complex and highly regulated site safe and operational, including: ✅ Planned & reactive electrical maintenance ✅ Fault finding, testing & repairs ✅ Lighting, emergency lighting & small power ✅ Distribution equipment & plant room services ✅ Generators, UPS/IPS, BMS & fire alarm interfaces ✅ Like-for-like replacements & minor electrical works ✅ Compliance testing, documentation & contractor support 👷 What were looking for 🔹 NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification 🔹 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 🔹 Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G Level 3 or equivalent) 🔹 2–3 years' recent electrical maintenance experience 🔹 Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills 🔹 A solid understanding of electrical safety, isolations and safe systems of work 🔹 A professional, reliable and team-focused approach ⭐ Experience with LV Authorised Person duties, HVAC/BMS, generators, UPS/IPS, Maximo or secure environments is advantageous. There's also the opportunity to develop towards formal Low Voltage Authorised Person (LV AP) appointment, subject to training, assessment and site requirements. 🎯 Why join?
