Commercial Manager

Our client is a leading civil engineering, infrastructure and structures contractor. They currently have an immediate requirement for a Freelance Commercial Manager to manage the delivery of concrete and civil engineering works, on self-delivery projects within the water sector. This is a long-term opportunity for a Freelance Commercial Manager with civil engineering, concrete and structures experience, working on either water, environmental or flood alleviation projects. Freelance Commercial Manager requirements:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and relevant experience.
• Tier 1 or 2 contractor experience, with self-delivery experience essential.
• FRC, structures and civil engineering experience within the water industry.
• Extensive full project lifecycle NEC contract administration and delivery experience.
• Proven experience managing and building commercial delivery teams.
• Excellent Stake Holder management skills upstream and downstream, with proven influencing skills.
• Demonstrable experience identifying and maximising project and financial opportunities.
• Strong commercial governance, programme & cost planning, cost forecasting & reporting, Risk, opportunity and margin protection experience.
