About the Role Our client is a premier Global Investment Bank renowned for driving operational excellence, robust financial technology, and digital transformation across complex, highly regulated environments. As part of an expansion within their front-office electronic trading and technology group, they are seeking a dedicated AI Project Manager (Front Office) to collaborate directly with front-office business units and optimize trader workflows using cutting-edge AI technologies. Sitting directly at the intersection of technology and the trading desk, you will partner with traders, quantitative specialists, risk officers, and core application teams to identify operational friction, refine trading workflows, and translate complex front-office needs into actionable, high-impact AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with front-office traders, sales traders, and execution teams to identify workflow bottlenecks, decision-support gaps, and high-impact opportunities for AI augmentation.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of AI and automation initiatives for front-office Execution Services—from initial workflow assessment and user story definition to production rollout and adoption tracking.
  • Translate trading floor needs into actionable technical requirements, user stories, project plans, and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Partner closely with internal AI researchers, data science teams, application developers, infrastructure engineers, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to keep projects on schedule and fully compliant.
  • Run proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and pilot programs to rigorously test new AI solutions in real trading environments before deploying them into production safely.
  • Assess Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and autonomous AI agents for trading floor applicability, user experience, and implementation feasibility.
  • Measure post-launch user adoption on the trading desk and work iteratively with traders to continually refine and enhance delivered tools. Education & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in IT project management or business analysis within front-office trading environments, trading desks, equities, or Execution Services (Sell-Side Investment Banking or Buy-Side capital markets exposure mandatory).
  • Proven track record of understanding front-office trading workflows, order/execution management systems (OMS/EMS), and direct trader interaction.
  • Solid understanding of realistic AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and practical use cases for front-office automation (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, execution analytics).
  • Strong discipline in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management, including risk management, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills; comfortable operating on a dynamic, high-pressure trading floor.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) To Apply Please apply directly to this posting or email your Resume/CV to recruiting@pfccgroup.com.
