Temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Operative

Location: Near Farnborough, Hampshire

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

Job Type: Temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

The Company

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK. Due to increased production demands, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.

The Role

This is a hands-on QA role within a fast-paced food production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards, carrying out routine checks, and supporting food safety compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process
• Complete QA paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor product quality, weight, labelling and packaging standards
• Conduct hygiene and GMP audits across production areas
• Support food safety and quality compliance procedures
• Assist with investigations into non-conformances and corrective actions
• Ensure products meet customer and company specifications
• Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to maintain standards
• Support site compliance with HACCP procedures
• Escalate quality concerns to management when required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a QA, Quality, Technical or Food Production role
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of GMP, hygiene and food safety standards
• Knowledge of HACCP principles would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Available to start at short notice
