Veterinary Practice Transformation & Product Lead Vetrics Location: UK, remote-first with occasional practice visits Salary: £65,000 + £5,000 target performance bonus Equity: Meaningful share options, subject to formal grant terms Employment: Full-time Reports to: Founder & Head of Product About Vetrics Vetrics is building veterinary practice software around a different question: What would help veterinary practices become genuinely better businesses, while delivering exceptional care and customer experiences? We're building far more than a traditional practice management system. Our platform brings together clinical workflows, AI-assisted documentation, client communications, online booking, payments, pet health plans, business automation, reporting and tools that help practices operate and grow. We want practice owners to use technology to spend less time on administration, give their teams better working experiences, improve the service delivered to pet owners and develop commercially stronger businesses. The opportunity We're looking for someone with an unusual combination of veterinary industry knowledge, commercial intelligence, product instincts and technical curiosity. Part of your job will be helping veterinary practices use Vetrics successfully. The much more interesting part is understanding how those practices operate, finding opportunities to improve their businesses and helping us invent the tools that make those improvements possible. You'll work directly with veterinary practice owners, managers, clinicians and support teams. You'll also work closely with the founder, who leads product strategy, and help turn real-world observations into better software. You won't just collect feature requests. You'll investigate problems, challenge existing workflows, design solutions and help take ideas through to implementation. What you'll do Transform veterinary practices

  • Build close working relationships with Vetrics customers.
  • Understand their operational, commercial and customer experience challenges.
  • Help practices adopt capabilities that genuinely improve how they work.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve customer journeys and develop revenue.
  • Provide practical advice, training and ongoing support.
  • Establish measurable improvements in practice outcomes. Discover and develop products
  • Observe veterinary workflows and identify unmet needs.
  • Distinguish training problems from missing product capabilities.
  • Design new features, workflows and automations.
  • Create prototypes, written requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Use AI-native tools to explore and demonstrate potential solutions.
  • Work with the Head of Product to evaluate opportunities and priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, test implementations and validate them with users.
  • Collect evidence of whether new functionality achieves its intended purpose. Build a better customer success operation
  • Lead onboarding and adoption for early practices.
  • Coordinate the triage and resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop reusable training and implementation processes.
  • Create playbooks that help practices get value from Vetrics.
  • Surface emerging product, operational and customer risks before they become major problems. What we're looking for
  • Substantial understanding of how veterinary practices actually operate.
  • Strong instincts for improving business processes and customer experiences.
  • The ability to understand problems independently and design practical solutions.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology, AI, automation and product development.
  • Confidence speaking to veterinary owners, practice managers and clinical teams.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous needs into clear product requirements.
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional curiosity, ownership and initiative. You might be a veterinary practice manager who has become passionate about technology, a veterinary operations specialist with strong product skills, or an experienced veterinary software product professional who understands practice operations firsthand. You don't need to be a qualified vet, an engineer or an established product manager. But you do need to demonstrate the ability to understand and improve complex workflows. What success looks like Our customers use more of Vetrics, realise measurable improvements in their businesses and regard us as a valuable partner rather than simply a software supplier. At the same time, you continually help us identify, design and deliver products that solve important problems. You turn customer understanding into product progress. What we offer
  • £65,000 base salary.
  • £5,000 target annual performance bonus.
  • 1.00% equity option opportunity.
  • Remote-first working, with direct customer access.
  • The ability to influence a large and evolving product.
  • Access to AI-assisted development and prototyping tools.
  • Close collaboration with the founder and Head of Product.
  • Real ownership of customer transformation and product discovery. How to apply Send your CV or LinkedIn profile and tell us about two things:
  1. A process, business or customer experience you've significantly improved, including the outcomes.
  2. A software feature, automation or system you've designed, helped develop or wished you could rebuild — and how you'd approach making it better. Practical examples matter much more to us than formal job titles.
