Legal Consultant

Position: Attorney Type: Contract Compensation: $90 - $110/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and similar documents.
• Analyze drafts to identify key issues and determine applicable company positions.
• Draft clear, reasoned written explanations detailing the rationale behind each redline or revision.
• Apply advanced contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions knowledge to legal documents.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency of standards and interpretations.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards of legal writing and contract review quality. Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Have strong relevant experience in transactional practice at a law firm or as an in-house attorney.
• Deep familiarity with commonly negotiated commercial provisions, such as limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex legal concepts and deliver clear, actionable written analyses.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and a high level of accuracy in contract review and interpretation.
• Expertise in technology transactions considered a strong plus. Application Process
