HGV Class 1 Driver

Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our retail distribution client based on the outskirts of Inverness (Dalcross). Our client runs a 7-day operation out of Dalcross, with work ranging from trunking down to the Central Belt through to store deliveries. You'll work any 5 days out of 7, with a choice of day or back shift and a higher rate on backs. What's on offer?

• Ongoing position, working any 5 days out of 7
• Day shift: 19.15 to 21.46 per hour (paid weekly)
• Back shift: 20.00 to 22.41 per hour (paid weekly)
• A mix of trunking and store delivery work As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
• Trunking to the Central Belt and delivering to storefronts
• Unloading cages from the back of the trailer at each drop
• Ensuring loads are safe and secure throughout
• Covering Class 2 work when required To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 6 months
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
