Data Architect - London - Azure

🚀 Senior Data Architect | Azure | London Hybrid OB have recently partnered with a sustainability-focused organisation on a major greenfield data platform build, and they're looking for a Senior Data Architect to take ownership of the architecture from the ground up. This is a hands-on, design-and-delivery focused engagement, with no legacy maintenance, giving you the opportunity to shape a new enterprise-scale data platform from inception through to production. What you'll be doing:

• Defining the end-to-end architecture for a new Azure-native data platform.
• Designing solutions across Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Purview.
• Establishing architectural standards, data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders, data engineers and technical leads to guide implementation and drive key architectural decisions. What we're looking for:
• Strong experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering, with deep expertise across the Microsoft Azure data stack.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering a greenfield data platform.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, governance and modern DataOps practices.
• Familiarity with lakehouse, medallion architecture or data mesh patterns.
