Project Director Senior Project Manager - Salary UP TO $130,000 +bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tunnel, railway, MTR, and major infrastructure work packages, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Oversee TBM tunnelling, shaft construction, SCL works, drill & blast activities, and associated temporary works.
• Supervise Site Agents, Section Engineers, direct labour, and specialist subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, programme, and budget performance.
• Develop short-term programmes, recovery plans, and progress reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications, ITPs, statutory requirements, and MTR/client standards.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces with clients, consultants, MTR Corporation, government authorities, and utility providers.
• Lead subcontractor management, cost control, risk mitigation, and project coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Job Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 20+ years' experience in civil infrastructure projects, including 10+ years in a project management role with a main contractor
• Proven experience delivering MTR, railway, tunnelling, underground station, shaft, or major infrastructure projects in Hong Kong
• Strong hands-on experience managing TBM works, shaft sinking, SCL, drill & blast, cut-and-cover structures, or underground construction activities
• Experience on MTR, Highways Department, DSD, CEDD, Airport Authority, or other public infrastructure projects is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of railway interfaces, temporary works, tunnelling methods, geotechnical conditions, and construction risk management
• Ability to interpret TBM data, geological reports, engineering drawings, and construction methodologies
• Experience managing project budgets, subcontract packages, procurement, cost control, and commercial reporting
• Candidates with experience covering the full project lifecycle from tendering and bidding through to final completion are highly preferred
• Chartered Engineer (HKIE or equivalent) is an advantage
