Building Safety Technical Officer

• Contract Type: 1-year contract
• Location: Huddersfield
• Salary: £25 per hour
• Working Hours: 37 hours per week, hybrid (Monday and Friday in office)

We are seeking a Building Safety professional for a 1-year contract to cover leave. This role involves overseeing the safety and compliance of a high-rise building, ensuring all operations such as repairs, safety inspections, and contractor management are conducted efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the safety management and compliance of a high-rise building.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, conduct inspections, and oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Work with consultants on Gateway applications.
• Ensure all repairs and safety inspections are completed timely and to standard.
• No direct budget or personnel management responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building safety management and compliance.
• Familiarity with Golden Thread, Asprey, Building Safety Cases, and Fire Safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
