A full lifecycle role, you'll develop a live product built at the cutting edge of AI-native engineering, owning the day-to-day build of Beautiful Destination's Content Operating System (COS) — the platform that runs production. You'll have genuine autonomy to shape the architecture, own the roadmap, direct AI coding agents and build the systems we use to power world-class creative work for some of the biggest travel brands on the planet. Direction comes weekly from the COO — implementation is entirely yours. This is an AI-native engineering role: you'll direct coding agents daily and hold their output to a production-grade standard. Working closely with our AI Developer, you'll ship code in rapid, focused sprints, with new features moving straight into a live production environment. No lengthy release cycles, no bureaucracy — just build, deploy, iterate. What you'll do

• Build and ship: Develop features across the platform using FastAPI, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Run.
• Own delivery end to end: Scope, build, test and release features, taking full ownership of sprint commitments.
• Push AI-native engineering forward: Work with AI coding agents daily, refining the conventions, prompts and guardrails that ensure production-grade output.
• Shape the architecture: Make and own technical decisions, document your rationale and manage technical debt with a long-term mindset.
• Build for real-world impact: Develop and improve a live platform used by our production team to deliver work for leading global brands.
• Keep production running smoothly: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and build lasting solutions that keep the platform fast, stable and reliable.
• Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with our AI Developer on shared infrastructure and AI-powered products. What you'll bring
• Proven production experience: 4+ years building, deploying and maintaining production web applications, with genuine ownership of the systems you've worked on.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills: Deep, hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI or similar), React, TypeScript and relational databases.
• Cloud expertise: Experience deploying, monitoring and debugging your own applications on GCP or AWS.
• An AI-first mindset: Daily, practical use of AI coding tools, with the ability to evaluate their output and maintain high engineering standards.
• Ownership and autonomy: A track record of working independently in a small, remote team, with demonstrable results.
• Exceptional written communication: You communicate clearly, document decisions and keep work moving in an asynchronous environment. Location: Remote, EUROPE; core-hours overlap with European time zones.
