Lead Software Engineer

Lead one of 6 new Eng teams in "27? | Lead Software Engineer | AI-Native B2B | >£180k We're looking for 6+ Staff/Lead engineers to join one of London's fastest-growing AI-native B2B startups as they continue a huge phase of engineering growth. They've 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in the past couple of years, raised £56m from various Tier 1 VC firms and are already trusted by businesses including Spotify, MongoDB and Monzo. The engineering team is set to double since the beginning of 2026, with loads of opportunities still live across Product Engineering, Platform Engineering and Engineering Management. What you'll be working on

• Owning meaningful product problems end-to-end, from initial idea through to deployment and iteration
• Building AI agents that automate complex procurement workflows
• Working directly with customers to understand problems and shape solutions
• Influencing roadmap, technical direction, UX and implementation
• Scaling systems and architecture as the customer base grows from ~180 to 300+
• Leading squads of 4-6 people whilst still remaining hands-on What they're looking for
• Strong full-stack engineers who can own features from start to finish
• TypeScript experience across frontend and backend
• Product-minded engineers who care about the impact of what they build
• High ownership, autonomy and comfort working through ambiguity
• Engineers who move quickly without compromising on quality
• Genuine interest in AI and how it's changing software engineering
