Digital Health Procurement Specialist An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Health Procurement Specialist to join a large public-sector healthcare organisation.This senior procurement role will take responsibility for a multimillion-pound portfolio covering digital health equipment, technology systems and managed services. You will work closely with clinical, operational, technical and commercial stakeholders to deliver complex procurements, improve commercial outcomes and support major digital transformation programmes. Your new role As Digital Health Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the procurement of digital health equipment, systems, software and managed services
• Developing and implementing digital health category strategies and procurement work plans
• Managing complex, high-value procurement projects from initial market analysis through to contract award and implementation
• Leading competitive tenders and negotiating multimillion-pound contracts
• Providing expert commercial, contractual and procurement advice to senior stakeholders and project teams
• Supporting strategic digital transformation programmes and leading individual procurement work streams
• Identifying savings, standardisation and demand-management opportunities across the portfolio
• Conducting market research and advising stakeholders on procurement routes, commercial options and regulatory requirements
• Establishing appropriate service levels, KPIs and contract-management arrangements
• Supporting supplier performance management, escalation and dispute resolution
• Ensuring procurement activity complies with internal governance and applicable public procurement regulations
• Building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, partner organisations and specialist technology suppliers
• Supporting continuous improvement and innovation across the procurement function What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Significant experience negotiating complex, high-value digital, technology or systems contracts
• A strong track record of delivering measurable savings and commercial value across a substantial procurement portfolio
• Demonstrable experience leading large competitive tenders and end-to-end procurement exercises
• Experience working within public-sector procurement or another large, regulated organisation
• Strong knowledge of contractual terms, tender evaluation methods and end-to-end procurement processes
• The ability to interpret complex information and provide clear, evidence-based commercial recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder-management, negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage challenging supplier and stakeholder discussions
• A procurement degree, CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience Experience within healthcare, digital health or a similarly complex public-sector environment would be advantageous. Chartered procurement status or a recognised project-management qualification would also be beneficial. What you'll get in return
