HR Business Partner - Business Services

Oakleaf is partnering with a leading international professional services firm to appoint an HR Business Partner. This is a broad commercial role supporting senior stakeholders in UK business services / central functions on organisational design, workforce planning, talent, employee engagement, and complex people matters. Reporting to a Senior HRBP and supported by an HR Advisory team plus specialists across the HR function, you'll partner closely with key stakeholders, support growth and change initiatives, and help deliver a high-performing, people-focused culture across your client groups. Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning activity, identifying capability gaps and future talent requirements.
• Support organisational change programmes, restructures and business transformation initiatives.
• Drive talent and performance management activity, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Partner closely with recruitment colleagues to build strong talent pipelines and hiring plans.
• Champion employee and leadership engagement initiatives across the business.
• Work with the ER Manager to provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including restructures, grievances, disciplinary processes and appeals.
• Collaborate with specialist HR teams including Talent, Reward and People Operations to deliver a seamless service.
• Use people data and insights to support workforce decisions and continuous improvement. About you
• An experienced HR Business Partner with strong commercial acumen.
• Professional services, legal, or financial services experience
• Comfortable influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Strong experience supporting organisational change and business growth.
• Experience of talent management, succession planning and workforce planning.
• Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor
